John is an independent filmmaker with over 16 years of experience working in various motion picture mediums and formats. His journey in film production began as a production assistant in the Music Video Industry before climbing the ranks to direct his own Hip Hop Music videos for popular recording artists. Which subsequently garnered enthusiastic attention from various multimedia platforms.
This recognition paved the way for a top Advertising Agency Grey New York to retain his services in the Broadcast Production team. Instantly, John began working with national brands, seven-figure budgets, and large-scale union production crews. Ultimately, he produced & directed commercials for companies such as Canon, DirecTV, Radio Shack, and Febreze.
His first order of business was to write & direct, The Inquisition of Camilo Sanz, a full-length feature film that was released by HBO Latino. Two years later, John would write & direct his second feature film, The Hudson Tribes, acquired and distributed by The Orchard and released on Amazon Prime. Most recently, John has completed his most ambitious project yet, Paradise City, his third full-length feature film.
In Advertising, John has received recognition for directing several branded documentaries for Cadillac, Heineken, and Glenfiddich in their ever-expanding digital presence. Other notable clients that John has directed Ads for include McDonald's and Emirates.
