Kim Nguyen has her finger firmly planted on the millenial pulse.  She excels at creating hip, contemporary, visually driven spots, bringing an innate sense of authenticity and eccentricity to her work.  Nguyen is a master of swift storytelling and seamless transitions.  She is also a performance comedy expert.  Put her spots next to one another, and each emerges as a completely different animal.  Whether she is capturing a hilarious encounter between Channing Tatum and Rebel Wilson in the midst of an action-movie car chase, or documenting the pivotal moment that sparks an outrageously rebellious haircut, Nguyen never fails to celebrate the spirit of today's youth.  Nguyen is a lover of quirks, an embracer of the weird and the offbeat, letting us into a world we can only hope we're cool enough to be a part of.  Quite frankly, Nguyen's spots make us want to put on a horse head and dance along with her performers.

In her past life, Nguyen was a writer for The Onion, a director/producer in MTV's promo department, and a copywriter for agencies like Ogilvy, McCann, Strawberry Frog, Taxi, and McKinney.  A graduate of the Creative Circus, her spots and web films have taken home Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, and Art Directors Club Awards.  Nguyen approaches every traditional TV campaign with a clear solution for the online and social media component of the project. All in the spirit of collaboration, and with absolutely zero ego, she's often brought in on projects to help concept.  Says Nguyen, "I love every stage in the process, especially working with actors.  It's fun to help take a performer where they want to go and where they're not even expecting to go."

With strong pop culture references, energetic music, and impeccable comedic timing, Nguyen's work moves fast, revealing new layers with each viewing.  A fresh female face in the industry, Kim lives in Santa Monica, CA with her husband and creative partner Eric Stevens.
